After careful drying and curing, our macadamias move into a controlled environment where each nut is delicately opened to reveal the pure, creamy kernel within. This process — the most intricate step in macadamia production — demands accuracy, consistency, and respect for the product’s natural integrity.

Using advanced mechanical systems calibrated for precision, every shell is cracked without damaging the kernel inside. Our equipment is designed to maintain ideal pressure and speed, ensuring that even the most delicate nuts remain whole and unblemished. Once released from their shells, the kernels are air-separated and meticulously inspected to remove any shell fragments or impurities.

Each stage of shelling is monitored under strict hygiene and safety standards, with real-time quality checks that uphold our reputation for excellence. The resulting kernels are then classified according to international grading systems — from large whole styles to halves and pieces — ensuring uniformity for global export.

All shells are collected, cleaned, and repurposed within our zero-waste energy cycle, fueling biomass systems that power the very dryers used in earlier stages of production. In this way, Wondernut turns by-products into purpose — closing the loop between innovation and sustainability.
